OIA Family Mourns their beloved Mr. Onnik Balyan (1935-2015)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our much beloved Co-Founder, a former President who has served OIA non stop since 1976, Life Time Honorary Member, Executive Committee Member,
Great leader and soldier for the Nation

Mr. ONNIK BALYAN (1935-2015)

Who entered eternal rest peacefully on 6/20/2015 , He passed away after becoming very ill over the course of a few days.
This is obviously a huge loss for the entire OIA family.
Even though he will always be with us and live through the services and support we provide to the Armenian Community.
His contributions to the Organization cannot be overstated.
Mr. Balyan lived a life of open hearted generosity, of love and care for all who met him – be it for an hour, a day, or a lifetime – teaching us how to live well through his example.
He will be truly missed by everyone at the Organization of Istanbul Armenians, even as his legacy continues through the services and support we offer to the Armenian Community.
